✨Gorgeous fruit that I don’t often buy, but today I saw it at the green grocer and am so glad I did.⠀

✨Beautiful orange flesh, juicy and interesting taste, not too sweet.⠀

✨As well as being high in folic acid, antioxidants, vitamin A, C, E and a great source of fibre, papaya is rich in the digestive enzyme, papain, which makes it a great fruit for anyone to include in their diet if suffering from digestive issues.⠀
â €
✨And like I discussed last night on my q&a, there is a huge link between gut and mental health: it is always important to support digestion and be aware of what foods will do that.⠀
â €
✨Beautiful eaten on it’s own, I love it with some lime juice squeezed on, or lemon also great. Or add to a salad, traditional in Thai salads. And amazing in smoothies. ⠀
✨So next time you see one, grab it!⠀
🧡Simple 🧡Delicious 🧡Nutritious.⠀
