I'm an experienced Nutritional Therapist, having studied for three years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, which I graduated from in 2011.
I do regular professional development training and am a member of The Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners.
My BSc in Psychology supports the therapeutic side of the work I do in my clinic.
I worked as a consultant for several years, including in the food industry, which gave me an interesting insight into food processing. Spurred on to explore the link between health and food, I retrained as a Nutritional Therapist.
I run a clinic in Tufnell Park seeing people individually, helping them to make sustainable changes to their diet that result in notable health improvements. I have developed a specialism in working with children and young adults, an extremely rewarding part of my work. As a mother of two teenagers, I am very aware of some of the issues around eating that can arise.
I have recently completed a course at The Tavistock, "An Introduction to Working With People with Eating Disorders," which has given me a greater insight into the complexities faced by some young people and adults.
I run workshops that relate to specific health concerns such as The Menopause and Type 2 Diabetes. My Nutrition Reboot Courses are particularly popular with people who want to eat more healthily and/or lose weight who are looking for input or guidance, recipe ideas and advice.
Above all, I get great satisfaction from helping individuals and seeing how quickly and sometimes dramatically, they can improve their health, even by making minor changes.
I'm passionate about what I do and I invite you to contact me to find out more.
